Should Not Be In The MACJuly 3, 2011 1:30 pm
Us Northern Illinois Huskies fans know that we deserve a more prestigeous conference than the MAC! Truthfully, I believe that we should get the chance to play in the big east where we can find some real rivals and be available on tv. We have one of the best quarterbacks in the nation in Chandler Harnish and have a team that's better than most. I heard the NIU huskies also received Wisconsin's D Coordinator as our new head coach and I can see that being a great team that seems to only get better. Since there is a lock of posts in this groupl I'll join in. Having been from the Joe Novak era at NIU it was a fun year to see NIU dominate MAC play (until the champioship). I give this team a ton of credit for coming back from their second crushing loss of the MAC Championsip game and Kill leaving for Minnesota to really putting it on a pretty good Fresno State Team. A great season, and even without a championship, one of the best in scholl history! Looking forward to what Dave Doeren will do with the team next year but man it was a blast to see Tom Matukewicz having fun out there. What a great personality to have on the field in light of the adversity as of late. I gotta give the guy props for my favorite quote in college football this year when he was asked about what he knew of Fresno State's program he said. "Pat Hill has a sweet mustache," LOVE IT! GO HUSKIES!!! Category: NCAAF Use Chad Spann More OftenAugust 3, 2010 1:31 pm
One player that if u look at the stats last year you'll see that our running back Chad Spann is probably our best player. I think the one most important thing this upcoming season that we should do is run the ball more. For a MAC player Spann is pretty good for our value. Category: NCAAF Tags: Chad Spann
